At Whispering Gully, we’re proud to once again take part in Superhero Week 2025, continuing our celebration of the everyday local heroes in our community who serve, sacrifice, and save; 🚓🚑🚒 we’re extending our heartfelt gratitude and support to other incredible superheroes through fundraising, and community spirit!
This year, we’re putting on our capes to support a truly heroic cause — Bear Cottage, as part of Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation, the only children’s hospice in NSW and one of just a few in all of Australia. Bear Cottage provides comfort, care, and compassion to children with life-limiting conditions and supports their families with strength and dignity. In every sense, these children — and those who care for them — are our very own superheroes.
🎭 Children are invited to dress as their favourite superheroes throughout the week
💥 Educators will be joining the fun with themed costumes and activities
💛 We’ll be raising funds for Bear Cottage, promoting wellness, hope, and ongoing care for families facing the unimaginable

I'm fundraising for Bear Cottage!
Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW, providing respite and end-of-life care for children with terminal illnesses and their families in a medically supported ‘home away from home’. For children in their care there is no happy ending or miracle cure. Bear Cottage gives them as much love, care, laughter, fun, and support, as they need.
